My approach to counselling is strongly underpinned by modern thinking, training and research surrounding how we and our families get by in the world. I have worked in NHS settings, yet my belief about being human is that when we struggle with life’s challenges we are not broken, ill or in need of ‘fixing’.
I offer my clients a special therapeutic relationship, founded on exploring their experiences. This approach acknowledges and values feelings and needs; enabling a movement towards a healthy flexible way of regarding ourselves and others.
